Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Regional Maintenance Electrician to join our team. This role requires a dedicated individual who is willing to travel extensively (75% travel time) and enjoys working in various locations while also appreciating the balance of home time (25%). The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks across multiple facilities within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine electrical maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Install, inspect, and upgrade electrical components and machinery as needed.
Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and regulations.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate and complete projects efficiently.
Provide technical support and guidance to facility personnel.
Document maintenance and repair work for company records.
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and technology.
Qualifications:
Certified Electrician with a valid license to practice in the region.
3+ years of experience
Proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical maintenance.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and testing equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
