Inframark Civil / Mechanical Engineer in Staten Island, New York
Responsible for engineering inspection of leachate control system components and for making recommendations for facility asset repair and replacement components.
Engineering inspection of leachate control system components.
Assists Chief Operator in diagnosis of wastewater treatment plant process changes.
Engineering inspection and repair recommendations for leachate well pumping and transmission pumping stations.
Supervises the inspection, operation, maintenance and repair of the stormwater monitoring structures and Pumping Stations.
Supervise work performed under non-routine repair, replacement and upgrades of facility assets.
Develop cost benefit analysis and recommendation reports, scope of work, detailed cost estimate and CPM schedule.
Communicates regularly with the project’s clients.
Provide additional support as necessary to execute Contract
Prepare status reports and budgetary updates
Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions
Other duties may be assigned
BS degree in Civil, Mechanical, Sanitary or Environmental Engineering a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the field.
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the engineering field.
Good organizational skills
Computer literacy and competency with Windows-based applications
Familiarity with Microsoft Project and others Microsoft Office components
Multi-tasking abilities essential
Effective communication skill
Problem solving and analytical skills a must
